03/12/2025: I've been here several times and have always had a great experience. The place is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The quality of the products is high, so you're sure to enjoy excellent food. The service is attentive and leaves nothing to chance. It's definitely one of my go-to places in the area.
01/12/2025: After five excellent lunches/dinners, I sadly left the restaurant last Saturday feeling disappointed.
The friendly waiters, who provided detailed descriptions of the dishes, were probably tired or dissatisfied; they were very quick and superficial in their descriptions, with half-hearted smiles. We arrived at our table, where a slice of gorgonzola was already waiting for us.
The appetizers, which I'd voraciously savored in the past, left me perplexed. The risotto, in my opinion, was too sweet, and the penne pasta dish with chestnuts, pumpkin, and lard had an aftertaste of warm "animal fat" that disgusted me (and my fellow diners, too). The desserts were also excellent. The house wine, as in the past, was only a sparkling rosé, no red, unlike other restaurants in the area. The place was packed, and I suspect the overall lower quality may have been a consequence. The average bill was €45 per person, with a tasting menu that didn't include a second course.
I don't think I'll go back. I've been to taverns in the area that offer better value for money.
