I discovered the “La Mattra” bakery a few months ago and I go back every time I'm near Calcata. Pizza for all tastes. The sandwiches made with Roman pinsa dough are absolutely worth trying (wide choice for vegetarians). Furthermore, many types of biscuits, one better than the other, in particular those with rum, toasted hazelnuts, figs and raisins🤤 Overall, highly recommended!

A must-see for anyone visiting the beautiful Calcata... a small and welcoming village that always proves wonderful in every season of the year... You can't help but go to the bakery, whether for breakfast or for a lunch break... ❤️ Recommended!

Cristallo di Neve

01/04/2025: Ci siamo recati al nuovo ristorante il cristallo dei Borgia situato in Subiaco gestito da Maurizio ed Irene i stessi titolari del notissimo cristallo di neve a monte Livata, per precisare il migliore. Materia prima da urlo, primi piatti eseguito alla perfezione , cantina dei vini , in grotta ,. Mai visti prima da nessuna parte Maurizio il padrone di casa ti mette a disposizione i migliori rum su tutti i tavoli siete troppo gentili e bravi. A presto .
25/01/2025: Cibo buonissimo e proprietari sublimi. Scelta di vini e amari vasta ed eccellente. Ci tornerò per la qualità e soprattutto la simpatia dei proprietari.
