Pleasant room, furnished in an original way. Excellent welcome and service. The innkeeper was really helpful with advice and very nice. Quality ingredients, excellent dishes of classic typical Tuscan cuisine. Value for money ok. Recommended without any doubt.

On the way back from Siena we stopped at this restaurant where we had a wonderful meal. The Forcillo starter is excellent, the first courses are delicious and plentiful, and the Fiorentina is good. Excellent service, very friendly owner as well as the young waiter.

Very good inn that exudes experience since 1932 Stefano, friendly, helpful and attentive. Homemade pici and pappardelle. Simple, tasty cuisine and also at a "good price" given the quality

Di passaggio decidiamo dopo avere consultato varie recensioni….pranzo nella norma con prezzi onesti e proporzionali alla qualità….avrebbe meritato il massimo dei voti ma la tagliata ordinata non era eccellente, nel senso che la colpa non del ristoratore ma del macellaio, abbastanza dura ma Mangiabile, ottimi i pici al ragù….se dovesse capitare ritorneremo sicuramente…

Il ristorante offre un buon menù, molto tradizionale... piatti abbondanti e buoni... il picio fatto a mano ha il suo perché... prezzo nella norma, ma forse unnpo troppi quadri e decorazioni sulle pareti che confondono sulka vera identita del locale... personale un po confusionario, il garzone che segue il titolare in sala non si capisce bene che ruolo abbia!

08/03/2025: We live not far away. I'm sorry it was full, but the lady still made us pizzas to take away, which were good. 💞
02/03/2025: When booking we advised that we had a baby girl born a few months ago. They reserved a room for our table (10 people) with an air conditioner on for the child's comfort. Excellent service, food and environment.

Antica Trattoria La Torre

18/05/2025: Excellent family-run trattoria, traditional Tuscan dishes, three generations of the family take turns between the kitchen and the dining room, the historic restaurant is located in the town square. Highly recommended.
15/05/2025: Restaurant located in the center of the village of Castellina in Chianti. We stopped on a Sunday for lunch, the place was crowded but despite this the service was fast. We ate some delicious tagliolini with truffle, absolutely worth trying!
