I buy the whole-wheat sourdough loaf, which surprises with its authentic, rustic flavor, instantly transporting me to my mountain holidays, where I found a similar bread.
The crispy crust and dense crumb release aromas and flavors reminiscent of the artisanal bread of mountain huts, reawakening emotions and memories of moments of peace and nature.
A simple bread, rare to find in the city, yet capable of transforming every bite into a journey through time.

First time I enter this bakery, I take some focaccia to bring to colleagues, I tasted it before, I honestly don't know if I like it or not, it's half dry, I think it was from yesterday and it's salty, however the pizza is quite good

I'm writing this review to RECOMMEND this shop to anyone looking to lose weight.
I discovered this Ligurian-themed delicacy—"bakery" would be too much of an understatement—since I retired and have been frequenting Piazza Martinez as often as I did when I was young. All, and I mean ALL, my friends in the square come here every day... and continue to do so. No one is dissatisfied with either the products or the service. The selection is incredible, from the various types of focaccia: Regular, Onion, Potato, Tomato, etc., with the same versions available in the dry version. Bread of all kinds and for all budgets, always fresh and tasty. Shall we talk about the mini pizzas with sausages or olives? Or the actual pizzas? The various savory pies ranging from chard to leeks, artichokes in season, meatloaf, etc., and the brioches?...always fresh and filled to order with cream, chocolate, or jam. I finish with the torcetti and the sfogliatine, I never leave the shop without a dozen or so sfogliatine... Of course, when I want to lose a few pounds, Panificio Giannini is absolutely off-limits to me... so to anyone who wants to lose weight, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT entering the shop. "Abandon all hope of losing weight, ye who enter here!"
P.S. The women in the family, starting from the mother and ending with the two daughters, are treacherous: always tempting you with their delicacies, and offering you a piece of focaccia, a pizza, a puff pastry... you always leave with your mouth satisfied and your wallet emptier....hahahaha

This bakery has been a point of reference in San Fruttuoso for over 40 years. It's family-run, run by a mother and two daughters. Fresh products are made daily, from savory pies and bread to all kinds of focaccia, pizza, brioches, and desserts. Everyone is very friendly and polite. A bonus? Freshly baked brioches, even in the afternoon. Affordable prices and artisanal products.
