Very remote and tiny mountain hut in the winter time. For visiting skiers from the slopes: steep downhill slope! Roland might give you a ride back up to the slope. Very friendly owner, we highly recommend the „Speck board“. Please keep in mind that only cash is accepted!

An incredible place in the peace of the mountains. We found wonderful people to welcome us. The rooms are very welcoming considering that we are in a refuge at high altitude. The food is delicious and the service is very well managed… you really feel at home. Definitely coming back!

We were at the hut for the first time during All Saints Week. It is definitely worth a visit. Great kitchen, a lovely host and a gigantic view when we arrived.

The Flecknerhütte is run by Roland, a very friendly host. He cooks everything fresh and deliciously, the portions are generous, and the prices are truly family-friendly, honest, and very reasonable. The entire staff exudes good cheer and treats guests with absolute affection—especially the host, Roland. You can't help but feel at home. The rooms are beautiful, romantic, clean, comfortable, and beautifully crafted with light wood. And the place with this view is an incredible highlight. Thank you for offering something like this. We were completely happy and will be back.
