Lainbar is simple and authentic. Market-fresh cuisine with local and seasonal dishes. Quality products and natural wines. A casual atmosphere where you come to eat and drink well, without frills or small talk.

We were there for a drink (two or three in the end) on the terrace. Very good recommendations, the charcuterie opposite belongs to them, so fresh and delicious platters with delicious gnocchi frittos.

Outdoor aperitif/dinner on a pleasant summer evening. We had excellent whole-wheat gnocco, fried in lard as per tradition, and really well done. A little thicker than you'd find elsewhere, but it was perfectly fried, and I didn't have any digestive issues, even though I ate at least 5 or 6 of them. The mixed cured meats were good and varied, and there was a good selection of drinks. I also really enjoyed the fried chicken with sauce: super crispy breading, perfectly cooked, and a pleasant sauce, a great accompaniment to a nice glass of wine. I'd go back even just for the gnocco. Efficient and friendly service.

A wonderful welcome in this restaurant/wine bar with a friendly atmosphere! A great atmosphere on this street in Modena. The welcome is warm and friendly, the language barrier is just an excuse. A real favorite is the gnocco fresco, perfectly typical and perfectly good. The menu is perfect and well-executed, with prices between €11 and €16. The wines are also well-chosen. I highly recommend it!

Very very nice place, in the heart of the center of Modena - industrial style, with tables outside. We arrived before noon, the opening time, and the owner inside - even though he was still preparing for the opening - still sat us down and served us even though we were early. We start with two medium craft beers, accompanied by very tasty toasted croutons. Along with the second round of beers, we were also served 6 pieces of very good wholemeal fried dumplings. Friendly and very accommodating staff. Total bill 20 euros. Highly recommended place both for the quality of the product, for the place itself and for the staff. We will be back for sure.
