A wonderful, rustic hut with Indian flair for the food. Well worth a visit.

A truly wonderful experience. Kailash and his team are open and welcoming, caring for their guests with kindness and dedication. Considering the difficult conditions, Kailash does a fantastic job.

On the Sartntal Horseshoe Tour, we stayed overnight in this beautifully situated hut. It was rainy and cold when we arrived, but Soni, the hut warden, had already made the hut cozy and warm. In the evenings, Indian or Tyrolean cuisine is served—we opted for Indian and were surprised by the delicious, exotic yogurt soup. A very pleasant atmosphere and a well-coordinated hut team.

A refuge with heart, great food, great staff, and a great location. Unfortunately, we had to move on. Keep up the good work, it was a fantastic experience.

We arrived at the hut, completely soaked and exhausted, at the end of a challenging hike. We were immediately greeted with warm drinks. We were able to dry our clothes by the tiled stove. The hut owner and his team took truly wonderful care of us and treated us to wonderful food. Thank you so much for that! We'd love to come back.

A wonderful experience at this refuge run by Kailash, a young man from Rajasthan who, along with his father and brother, make this place in the heart of the Sarntal Alps magical. Wonderful welcome, excellent dinner and breakfast, and even the chance to try an Indian dish in Alto Adige... when will you get another chance? I highly recommend stopping by to experience this beautiful atmosphere immersed in an equally magical place!

Tolle urige Hütte „fernab“ der Zivilisation! Man kommt hungrig und müde an, wird überaus freundlich und herzlich empfangen, setzt sich in eine gemütliche Stube und wärmt sich den Pelz am Ofen. Hier gelten etwas andere Maßstäbe als anderswo: Die Hütte kann nur via Helikopter versorgt werden, daher muss mit Lebensmitteln und Rohstoffen sorgfältig umgegangen werden. Trotzdem haben Kailash und sein Team eine warme und gastfreundliche Atmosphäre, in der man sich einfach zuhause fühlt. Die Betten sind recht neu, und vor allem die Matratzen waren unter den angenehmsten auf unserer gesamten Tour. Zu erwähnen ist auch das Essen, dem zwischen indischen und südtiroler Klassikern gewählt werden kann.

We were on the Sartntal Horseshoe Tour five weeks ago and, among other things, spent one night in the hut. The hut warden greeted us personally and introduced himself. A super friendly team. For dinner, we could choose between Indian and South Tyrolean. We all opted for the Indian version and were absolutely thrilled. It was incredibly delicious. An Indian-style yogurt soup and, for the main course, a chicken curry in a hut high up in the mountains. Freshly baked delicious bread for breakfast. What can I say? Supplies by helicopter and such great food. Congratulations and respect to the new tenant, Soni Kalish.
