The sea in Palestrina (Rm) Small, youthful location, simple furnishings, top wines, delicious fish. Raw products of all types, Mazzara del Vallo prawns, sea urchins and oysters. Superlative first and second courses, excellent tempura. Portions too small. Efficient, friendly staff. Medium-high prices for the location.

Nothing to say about the quality, nor about the place, but exaggerated prices and somewhat limited servings. I don't think I'll go back again... well I tried, too bad.

Non c'e niente da fare: un ristorante può andare bene quando è una novità, specialmente quando non si sta in una metropoli. Quando però fa come il buon vino, ossia migliora con gli anni, beh...diventa una garanzia. Il carpaccio di gambero bianco agli agrumi è una vera poesia; il soute' di cozze (italiane) con il pane bruscato, perfetto; la trancia di ricciola alla cacciatora, una specialità; la caprese al cioccolato (fatta in casa) deliziosa. E quando pure la cicoria ripassata suona nel palato...mi arrendo: avete vinto. Tutto scritto anche prima del conto. Che resterà sicuramente conveniente confronto a molti ristoranti stellati della vicina capitale. Che conosco bene.

Completely positive experience. Everything perfect. Just a little far from my area (north Rome). I'll be back as soon as I can. Also next weekend, Palestrina is well worth a trip out of town.

Highly recommended! We stayed with our family with our 3 daughters.. we ate fabulously.. fresh fish and impeccably cooked! Valerio and Elena are excellent hosts, they immediately made us feel at ease and gave us advice on dinner. The next day before leaving we went to the fish shop and had some takeaway dishes made, always with fresh fish and I must say that our girls loved it! For all those mothers who don't know what to cook for dinner, stop by fish shop in the morning and have some nice meatballs made rather than swordfish rolls and I will show you that your children will not only eat fresh and not frozen fish but they will always want it!!
