Hiked from Kurzras to Vernagt and discovered this beautiful hut. Great location, we had a delicious meal and enjoyed the magnificent view of the Vernagter reservoir. The food was very tasty, everything freshly prepared. Cheese dumplings, Kaiserschmarn, fried potatoes with ham and fried eggs, plus a mega blackcurrant spritzer. The prices are reasonable. The hut is very busy and you should have plenty of time; we waited almost an hour for the food.

Food and price good, waiting time and organization could be optimized, same as the menu (when I read lasagne I want a lasagna, not lasagne with eggplant and pepperoni)

The oldest and highest producer of wheat in Europe, it maintains a magical and welcoming atmosphere as a restaurant. Spectacular view, excellent typical cuisine, correct quality/price ratio, some slowness in service (but it was 1.30pm). The only flaw, really too many flies on the plates.

We were there yesterday after walking around the beautiful reservoir. We really liked it there, the view of the lake is fantastically beautiful. The food was very good 🤩 the service was very friendly. A beautiful place that we would like to return to. Thank you for this lovely little break. 🌺

Siamo tornati dopo 3 anni ... avevamo proprio un bel ricordo e del posto e dei piatti. Abbiamo mangiato il gulasch con canederli e le uova con speck e patate....tutto ottimo e i proprietari davvero sempre disponibili e gentili. Prezzi onesti...
