A quaint little spot for a break. Hearty and sweet dishes in a beautiful setting, with a view over Merano – right next to the vineyard. Highly recommended 👌🏼

Beautiful hike up with great views

Unfortunately, we can't recommend this place. We don't know how it got such good reviews. The portions were small, the bread rolls served with the sausage salad were stale from the day before, and the strudel was made with store-bought (or poorly prepared) puff pastry. The prices were too high for the portions; we've often had better.

Great atmosphere, delicious cheese and bacon platter, but the absolute highlight is the house wine! It tastes good, is affordable, and is a real treat. I'll be back!

The ascent between Merano and Tyrol is a walk with a slight incline. It's ideal for a refreshment stop halfway through and a beautiful view of the Merano region.
