Fermento In Alessandria

Tonight we went to celebrate the completion of a master's degree. We were a diverse group of about 30 people. They welcomed us at least half an hour before the usual opening time. The staff was very kind and eager to accommodate our requests. It was a pleasant evening.

The place is quite big, there are many tables inside and outside, it is mainly a nightclub so it does not have a huge dinner menu but the dishes are original and very good, even if the prices are quite high... for 2 people: 2 hugò, 1 aperol spritz, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, a small plate with prawns, a sandwich with Fassona tartare, a bottle of water, a soda and a coffee €80. The staff is very kind and helpful, the service is not very fast but not too slow either, if you are in company you do not feel the wait is too long. At 11.30pm the loud music starts with the DJ and there is a dance floor.

I was given a small surprise party at this place. Good food, ranging from small tapas to more substantial dishes like hamburgers or carpaccio. Average prices. What I didn't like was the rush to clean the table by taking away bottles/glasses still containing wine (paid for handsomely) while we were all still sitting at the table. They also made me a cake (on which they didn't put the candles provided by my boyfriend due to their mistake for which they apologized - patience is not a problem). The very good cake was made in the zoccola pastry shop and after cutting it they left the leftover pieces at the table packaged in plastic boxes (since it was a cake with cream I would have preferred to collect it at the end of the evening after appropriate storage in the fridge instead of taking it away after it was left on the table without even asking if we wanted a second slice). In short, I felt as if, after paying, we had to leave because that table was for those who come after dinner and this made me very bitter. As for post-dinner entertainment, there was no DJ but some music was played anyway.

Together with other couples we went on Saturday evening....Clean place, frequented by an elegant clientele, excellent beer (very bad mojto).....Shame about the music...no one was dancing due to the fault or choice of a deejay who always played the same musical base without ever changing genre or rhythm...a disappointment...the music of the previous management was much better...I'm sorry...

So very nice place, the plastic sofas not exactly the most comfortable, but excellent environment. Excellent music, DJ who adapts very well to customer situations and requests. Recommended for everyone to spend an evening in company and meet new people

Interesting place where you can have an aperitif accompanied by good wines. Serene environment with musical entertainment.
