Trattoria with excellent traditional dishes but with the right modern treatment, excellent service with well-trained dining room staff, all in a quiet environment

Friendly and helpful atmosphere. Good food.

For years I had been hearing good things about Fenestra Verde and finally I booked. It was an experience I had been missing. The location, former rooms belonging to the adjacent church, is magical, it has everything you could expect, it's like being in an upper-middle-class house from the beginning of the century, with old grit floors, Thonet chairs with super comfortable cushions, the fireplace on which some of the meats offered are cooked...just like at "home", in fact. The staff in the dining room deserves praise, attentive and discreet at the same time! There are typical traditional dishes, but also off-menu options explained verbally, the gem is that the menu is printed on paper with watercolor drawings, which I really appreciated. The wine list was well thought out, varied, with super honest prices. My husband and I shared their "7 bocconi" appetizer, the mezzaniello Lardiato and the duck breast. We don't joke about dessert and we each had one, their millefoglie and the cream and pine nut tart. All very good. If you are willing to socialize there will be plenty of opportunities both from the owner Guido, and his nephew Antonio (an expert in wines and more), and from the other guests present. E' la terza volta che ceno in questo ristorante con amici ed ho sempre apprezzato l'attenzione al cliente, l' ottima cucina che propone piatti della tradizione napoletana con prodotti tutti di alta qualità. Pochi piatti previsti dal menù ma davvero deliziosi che vengono comunque variati periodicamente. Ambiente elegante con più sale anche dotate di caminetto.

Typical place where you can "literally" taste Campania cuisine at the highest levels. Exquisite staff. I was there for a business lunch and I ate a really delicious starter and first course. The six wine list is also beautiful. Compliments

Sono andata per la prima volta in questo ristorante il 27 e sono rimasta conquistata, l’atmosfera natalizia con il camino acceso e un calice corposo di vino rosso sono stato un connubio perfetto per queste feste. Ottimo l’entree con una zuppa di fagioli e castagne e una goccia di olio a crudo offerto dallo chef, abbiamo continuato con la tradizionale minestra maritata che mi ha ricordato tanto quella della nonna. Ovviamente buoni anche gli antipasti e il dolce. Il sevizio è stato curato nei particolari e il conto onesto per la qualità che abbiamo avuto

I went to this restaurant for the first time on the 27th and I was won over, the Christmas atmosphere with the fireplace lit and a full-bodied glass of red wine was a perfect combination for these holidays.
