Nice place, very nice and welcoming. I ate very well, there is a great choice of wines. The staff is very kind, the service is excellent.

A gem in an out-of-the-way area, a very nice place, even if the room on the upper floor where we ate is too intimate, very quiet, and when you talk at the table you almost feel at fault for disturbing the other diners. The cuisine and service are truly excellent. From appetizers to first courses. It also has a beautiful terrace that I assume is open during the spring - summer season. I recommend the lardiata which really satisfied me.

For years I had been hearing good things about Fenestra Verde and finally I booked. It was an experience I had been missing. The location, former rooms belonging to the adjacent church, is magical, it has everything you could expect, it's like being in an upper-middle-class house from the beginning of the century, with old grit floors, Thonet chairs with super comfortable cushions, the fireplace on which some of the meats offered are cooked...just like at "home", in fact. The staff in the dining room deserves praise, attentive and discreet at the same time! There are typical traditional dishes, but also off-menu options explained verbally, the gem is that the menu is printed on paper with watercolor drawings, which I really appreciated. The wine list was well thought out, varied, with super honest prices. My husband and I shared their "7 bocconi" appetizer, the mezzaniello Lardiato and the duck breast. We don't joke about dessert and we each had one, their millefoglie and the cream and pine nut tart. All very good. If you are willing to socialize there will be plenty of opportunities both from the owner Guido, and his nephew Antonio (an expert in wines and more), and from the other guests present.
