Delicious French croissants. We tried practically everything! Pain au chocolate, a croissant with cream, chocolate, and black cherry with almonds. The pastry is sublime, the chocolate and cream are very delicate. We also returned for the gelato, perfect consistency, interesting flavors. The two young owners are very friendly. This charming corner of France in a sometimes somewhat grumpy Alto Adige is definitely worth a try!

Very good quality and excellent pastries – all fresh and made with love. Unfortunately, the prices are a bit high, but the quality partly justifies it.

The Cornetti: A Tale of Love Between Dough and Butter in the Heart of Italy! At the heart of every sunny Italian morning, before the jasmine flowers bloom on the balconies of ancient houses to fill the air with their fragrant scent, a legendary love story unfolds between the tenderness of the dough and the warmth of the butter. The hero of this tale is not a knight in shining armor, but rather a humble piece of bread, the reigning queen of the Italian breakfast: the Cornetti! The Cornetti: An Unmistakable Italian Spirit Those who think the Cornetti is simply an "Italian croissant" are mistaken. While it shares the beautiful layered appearance of the Cornetti—those stacked layers that tantalize the appetite—its story and flavor convey an authentic Italian spirit that is unmistakable. While the French croissant tends to have a crispier, drier texture, the Cornetti retains a softer, warmer heart, embracing a light sweetness that teases the senses and promises an unforgettable taste—a taste that speaks of the Italian sun and the passion of bakers. The Symphony of Bread: The Secret of Golden Layers Our story begins in small bakeries, where the scent of freshly melted butter wafts into your nostrils, heralding the beginning of a magical bread symphony. Imagine the baker's skillful hand kneading pure white flour, then adding sugar to give it that distinctive sweetness that delights the senses, a pinch of salt to carefully balance the flavors, and yeast to give it life and rise, transforming it into a living organism in his hands. But the real secret lies in the layers: the thin dough is skillfully rolled out, generously brushed with cold, pure butter, then folded and rolled out again and again. Each fold is a whisper of love placed by the baker in his dough, and each individual layer is the promise of a rich and luxurious taste. This delicate process, which requires endless patience and skill, is what gives the Cornetti those overlapping golden layers that melt in the mouth with every bite, like a cloud of flavors. After the cornetti takes its distinctive, elegant crescent shape, resembling a small deer antler, it is left to rest and ferment gently. The delicate dough transforms into tiny living creatures, breathing and doubling in size, preparing for its final, fateful journey into the hot oven. The Miracle of the Oven: The Warm Heart of the Cornetti Here, in the golden glow of the oven, the ultimate miracle occurs. The butter slowly turns into steam, lifting the layers of dough and imparting an unparalleled crispness. The surface transforms into a golden, crisp crust that tempts you to gently break open to reveal its inner secret: a soft, warm heart, often filled with goodness that delights the soul. Coretti is not just an ordinary bread; it is a story told with every bite that melts in your mouth. The Vuoto may be a master bread, boasting its authentic beauty and pure butter flavor, or filled with various jams, such as red raspberry or glossy apricot, to add a touch of refreshing sweetness that complements its taste. It can be drenched in melted dark or white chocolate, becoming a true haven for sweet lovers. Those seeking authentic taste and supreme softness will find what they're looking for in the Cornetti filled with rich pastry cream, transporting you to another world of softness and warmth that engulfs your senses. And so, the Cornetti emerges from the oven, carrying with it not only an irresistible aroma that fills the space, but also a history of authentic craftsmanship, an undying passion for cooking, and the promise of a perfect, unforgettable Italian morning. It's more than just a quick breakfast; it's a moment of pure joy, often served alongside a cup of hot espresso that awakens the senses or a frothy cappuccino that refreshes the soul. It becomes a symbol of the elegant simplicity and hidden joy that lies at the heart of Italian daily life. The next time you see a Cornetti, remember this enchanting story. Savor each layer carefully, feel its warm, soft heart, and let its aroma take you on a journey to the streets of ancient Italy, where tales of love dance between dough and butter to the tunes of a beautiful morning. Villa Fiorita

22/10/2025: A charming place, with kind and helpful staff. I didn't see the rooms because I was exhibiting at a trade show, but I can say that the interior and exterior of the villa are worth seeing.
21/10/2025: I stayed for fifteen nights in this hotel and loved it. It is a great hotel with delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended. I will certainly go back there. However it is necessary a car as it is not really in a city.
