Fattoria Borrello is an authentic Sicilian place where the Nebrodi black pig becomes pure culinary art. Excellent dishes, authentic flavors, and a quality that speaks for itself: you can taste the love for tradition and the mastery of the kitchen.
Unfortunately, the overall experience doesn't live up to the cuisine. The staff is unwelcoming, rarely smiles, and every request seems met with annoyance. Furthermore, if there's a WhatsApp reservation service, it would be nice if someone actually answered: after three months of trying, I was only able to book by phone, because no one ever answers WhatsApp.
A place where the food is extraordinary, but where hospitality and communication should be given the same attention as the dishes.

Surrounded by nature, the property is immaculately maintained. We were immediately welcomed. The highlight, of course, is the food, simply exceptional!
Even though I came alone, they offered to serve me small portions of each dish, and I was lucky enough to have Japanese staff on hand, so I received very warm hospitality. The food was fantastic, making the most of the natural flavors of the ingredients, including the grandmother's homemade bread, which was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and the tender meat, which was lightly salted and marinated with herbs and sweet and sour onions. The water was also delicious.
