Farinata Ai Cancelli In Savona

Very good farinata and generous portions, good service, except that if it's crowded the kids have trouble. It has a tavern-like atmosphere (rightly so), except that if there are a lot of people it's a bit noisy.

A unique and inimitable restaurant, simple but with truly delicious and plentiful dishes! The farinata, topped with whatever you like, is highly recommended!

I'll start by praising the staff for managing the situation so quickly. If you don't see it, you don't believe it. Walking into a former garage (I think) with all the trappings of a car repair shop and finding a restaurant complete with a super chef... Top-notch, yet rustic, food... It's not a place for the refined!

We discovered it by chance when we wanted something to eat before catching the ferry to Corsica. The farinata is absolutely delicious, as are the cheese and olives. Important for anyone who isn't familiar with farinata and has to take the ferry: you'll need to allow some time, as the farinata itself takes a long time to make, and during peak times it can take up to 50 minutes, as the restaurant also points out. It only took us 40 minutes, and we thoroughly enjoyed the farinata in the beautiful garden under fairy lights. 🤗 We parked at the shopping center on the main road and walked there in a few minutes.

The cheese with olives is very good, very tasty, delicate and fresh. The farinata are well cooked, fine and soft. The owner is kind and helpful. Thanks to Matteo from the BLU Bar in Zinola who recommended this top place to us!

A simple yet authentic place. The farinata is unbeatable, but above all, the PEOPLE you'll find there are special! We come here very often and are always happy to return.

Decent food, quite noisy place, in case of rain in the side room the water gets under your feet... I don't know, I wasn't very enthusiastic about the place. 🤔

Fantastic farinata, kind and knowledgeable staff.....but you can also taste other dishes, all excellent...don't forget to book!!
