Fantasia del Dolce In Fumone

I'm from Alatri, a small town near Fumone. Today I went to get some lemon donuts and ate a piping hot one right out of the oven! They're truly delicious, I'll be back more often. 😍

Very kind, cookies deserve an A+. Not stopping is a mortal sin. She must have given me four cookies, if not more, just from sampling. Her cookies are fabulous. Very good.

Strolling through the quiet, charming alleys of Fumone, I was captivated by an irresistible scent: a sweet lemon aroma that seemed to chase me through the ancient stones of the village. Following that fragrant trail, I discovered its origin: the Fantasie del Dolce pastry shop. As soon as I entered, the welcoming atmosphere and the friendliness of the sales assistant immediately put me at ease. Without hesitation, she offered me a taste of the very dessert that had filled the alley with its aroma. A surprisingly balanced, soft, and fragrant lemon giambella: simple but made just right. Struck by its deliciousness, I decided to buy some to take to my daughters, certain they would appreciate it. And while I was there, I also added a honey and almond cake, another truly worthy specialty. The sales assistant was kind, smiling, and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. I left satisfied with both my purchases and the conversation: that kind of genuine welcome that makes all the difference. If I ever return to this area, and I will, I'll definitely stop by Fantasie del Dolce again to enjoy those delicious lemon giambelle.

A place from another era. The lemon donuts are simply exquisite and bring back flavors from our long-forgotten grandparents. The staff is truly friendly. 5 stars is the maximum; otherwise, I'd give it more. Very good!

If you're in Fumone, after a delicious lunch and a visit to the castle, you can't miss this little pastry shop. It's practically across the street from the castle, and if you miss it, you'll find it by following the delicious aromas emanating from this little shop. The lemon aromas blend with those of the various sweets you'll find inside. We tried the freshly baked lemon donuts, a true delight. We ate them on the spot and, of course, had some wrapped for us to take home. I must say, even reheated, they lose a bit of their "magic," but they're still very good. Definitely worth a try.

During a visit to Fumone Castle, we had the opportunity to meet the owner of this fantastic pastry shop. The quality of their products is well-known and recognized... The secret to such deliciousness is probably making things with love. There's certainly love and ancient tradition behind every single product. It's impossible to pass through Fumone without stopping by Fantasia del Dolce.
