During our stay, we opted for takeout from Fantappizza, as it was bedtime for the kids. We ordered a Classic Pizza Cotto and the Dieghizza di Diego. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it was great that they also spoke English – this made communicating as a tourist much easier. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. The pizzas were ready to go in no time, which was very convenient. Street parking is limited, but with the blue parking card, you can park for 20 minutes, which is enough time to pick up your order. The pizzas were delicious, and our three-year-old daughter actually said it best: "I love pizza." Highly recommended! 🍕

On the advice of fellow holidaymakers, we came here for dinner on our first evening. Highly recommended! Delicious pizzas, super friendly staff! We've eaten here 3 times now. Too bad we can't take it home with us! We'll definitely be back 🥳

01/02/2026: I had pizza with a friend and we were both very satisfied. The pizza was good, well-topped, the atmosphere was bright, fresh, clean, and tidy, and the waitresses were friendly. The bathrooms were also clean and tidy, with soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. They also have a spacious disabled bathroom and a nice changing table for changing diapers. Excellent! Please note: To order takeout pizzas, it's best to call as soon as they open. If the place is busy, they have a lot of work to do and lots of pizzas to bake, some of which may have already been ordered. You'll have to be prepared to wait a bit, but it's worth it!

Il Guelfo Bianco

27/12/2025: We stayed 4 nights at Il Guelfo Bianco and wish we could’ve stayed longer! The location is absolutely perfect—within 5 minutes’ walk of Il Duomo, the Gallerie dell’Accademie, the Santissima Annunziata, San Lorenzo, the Mercato Centrale, loads of restaurants and shops, etc. The staff are friendly and welcoming, greeting us with chocolates, bottles of water, and advice. Our room was glorious, with immensely high ceilings, a comfortable bed, and a view of the interior courtyard. Breakfast is served buffet style every morning with tons of options, including fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt and toppings, cold meats & cheeses, fresh juices, as well as scrambled eggs and a few hot dishes. We could try something new every day (but always a chocolate cornetto and that marvellous fresh mozzarella!). The interior of the hotel is beautiful and I always felt like we were walking through a Renaissance house adorned with modern artwork. I would 100% come back here again and advise any friends to visit as well!
