Fame Da Lupi In Tropea

Very welcoming atmosphere, just a few minutes' walk from Tropea train station. The food is excellent. I highly recommend the appetizer for two and the first course of square spaghetti with meat sauce and black pig cheek. Service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

I only had two nights in Tropea and stumbled on Fame da Lupi while walking the strip. The meats in the window pulled me in, and I finally got the Florentinian steak I’d been craving. Perfectly cooked, paired with roasted veggies and Sicilian wine — unforgettable. I loved it so much I went back the next night. The chef’s slow-cooked ribs with roasted potatoes were incredible, and the atmosphere was just as inviting. Both nights I ended up making friends at nearby tables — that’s the vibe here. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Italy. Don’t miss it!

Fine steak and all dishes. We get 750g steak to share (w. Bones) we are satisfied and everything was really good.

Very nice cheese platter Steak with truffle…new to me and very exciting. Just missing a sauce in my opinion. Potatoes with “pepper sauce” were underwhelming Great house wine

We visited Fame da Lupi in Tropea one evening, drawn in by the cozy atmosphere and the fact that the place was quite busy. For starters, we ordered the mixed antipasto. About half of it was tasty, but the rest felt a bit flat. For the mains, we went with a pork chop and a dry aged steak. The pork chop was overcooked and bland, lacking much flavor. The steak was ordered medium but came out raw, and the bigger problem was that it didn’t really have any taste. We asked for salt and pepper just to bring something out of it. The side of grilled vegetables was ok, but really just plain grilled vegetables without much extra care. Overall, the meal fell short of expectations, considering the dinner came to over €120. Service was fine, nothing to complain about, but nothing memorable either.

Siamo andati per cena. Ottima carne. Abbiamo preso un tagliere della casa dove c'erano salumi formaggi polpette crostini con cipolla caramellata parmigiana frittata olive ecc. Poi abbiamo proseguito con una grigliata veramente buona, il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino rosso della casa. Sottofondo musicale anni 80-90. Proprietario gentilissimo Prezzo giusto.
