07/01/2026: A very nice place. I recommend it. I advise you to book in advance.
07/01/2026: Family lunch, reservations honored, and a beautiful location.
The best part was the food, impeccable:
stuffed anchovies, peppers, and mozzarella in carrozza as an appetizer.
For the first courses, the Genovese was excellent, as were the tubes with broccoli rabe, sausage, and provolone cream, and the gnocchi with honey mushrooms, a lovely recipe.
The desserts were good, although the selection was limited because the tiramisu and caprese were sold out.
Sorry points:
1. When choosing a Piedirosso wine, we were told that the Piedirosso we had chosen wasn't available, but they made do with another wine. Too bad he had already brought it and opened it at the table before speaking, and it also cost double, so at least we should have asked before opening the door.
At the end of the meal, we were asked if we wanted coffee. We agreed, but then when we got the bill, we realized that each coffee, served in a small glass, had been charged 4 euros each. Basically, the cost of a portion of two stuffed peppers was the same as 2 coffees. Well...
Definitely worth a try, but at this point, be careful with the wine, and especially the coffee, get it at the bar.
