Breakfast was excellent, to say the least. The pistachio sfogliatella couldn't have been better. Truly one of the best.

Breakfast: coffee and croissant, good, with plenty of fillings. It's a shame about the service; the croissant was on the tray, resting on two napkins. I couldn't pick it up and put it next to me at the table.

Quick review during my coffee break: excellent pastry shop and cafe. Friendly staff, fair prices. As a literature teacher, I'd add that I'm one of the few to spell "arte pasticc"i"era" with an i in the suffix "-iera" (preferable to the one without the i, while "pasticceria" never has an i). "Spiegone" aside, this is a place I recommend.

The place needs a refresh. Excellent value for money, and it's open early in the morning. It's a shame they don't make freshly squeezed juice or centrifuged juice.
