I still think about this place! The food was more then delicious… I loved the pasta I had and also the starter. One of my favorites was also the Aperol spritz. I’ll definitely come back.

My favorite place in Agrigento! I come back every time I return to Italy. A peculiar restaurant, in the heart of Agrigento, which offers impeccable service, in a refined environment, offering dishes that are among my all-time favorites. A must try stop in the city!

In the historic center of Agrigento, elegant but informal, kind and attentive staff. Absolutely exceptional traditional dishes, with top quality ingredients. If you come to Agrigento you can't miss trying it.

My best experience was the steak with pistachio sauce, it was just flavor explosion : very tender meat and very tasty sauce! Could eat every day 😅🤤 Thank you so much to the chef! Perfect 👌❤️

Sarde Beccafico (unpictured) were quite good, even if the waiter told me they did not have saffron onions in them (they did, and I said so, and he went and checked with the kitchen, then came back and told me I was right); Steak with pistachio cream; Goat cheese ravioli; kinda semifreddo; drinks continue to be the star. Classy bar. Restaurant less so. Mediocre service in restaurant.

Selection of Dop and Top cheeses Cavatelli alla norm, Top Pappardelle with wild boar ragout, Top Busiata with pesto, superTop Sicilian roulade, superTop Side dishes, potatoes, Classic Top 😊 Almond semifreddo, Top Tiramisu, classicTop Pistachio couscous, super super Top. Very honest prices. Great good restaurant. Excellent service. Go there.

Quando si dice...Sicilia.. location in una piccola piazzetta di agrigento a pochi passi dalla via principale, tavoli esterni e tavoli nella curata sala interna che richiama un ex panificio. Cibo eccellente con piatti tipici della tradizione siciliana rivisitati in chiave attuale, materia prima eccelsa , sapientemente cucinata dallo chef Patron. Sicuramente da provare le busiate e lo spiedino , ma anche il risotto con gamberi. Sono stato ospite per 2 sere consecutive, staff eccellente e cortesia la fanno da padrona. Chiunque si trovi ad Agrigento faccia una tappa...ne vale la visita. Rapporto qualità prezzo, come da guida michelin, OTTIMO.

Questo ristorante è stato una piacevole scoperta al rientro dalla valle dei templi situata a 7 minuti di macchina dal sito archeologico. Abbiamo potuto gustare degli ottimi piatti che rispettano la tradizione della cucina siciliana. Due antipasti di mare (involtini di alici e baccalà mantecato) e due primi (spaghetti con i ricci e pasta con pesto di pistacchio e gamberetti), tutto abbastanza delicato e avvolgenti nel gusto. Non abbiamo ordinato il dolce perché eravamo sazi, ma dall'esterno, osservandoli sugli altri tavoli, crediamo che fossero buoni. Consigliato il rapporto qualità prezzo.

27/11/2024: 5/5 in everything!! the starter with the fish was so simple and yet so tastefull ( could have been at a lower price comparing in quantity). We tried the pasta alle vongole, the one with the mussels but the star-plate was the shrimp pistacchio spaghetti. I cound never imagine shrimp with pistacchio (maybe sicilian cuisine combines lost of dishes with different nuts) it was truly a 5/5 exprerience, a quiet place in a back alley, very romantic! the wine list is great, but also the staff was very kind, helpfull, and elegant with their moves! comparing to other places this city has to offer, which are ver disappointing, this one stands out and deserves the 4.5 on google reviews. mind you it is not a 10 euro per person, but it is an elegant restaurant with great menu and service. well done!!
18/11/2024: Went here for dinner due to the good reviews but were very disappointed with the food. We ordered "fantasia di mare" as an appetizer and as mains the "carbonara di mare e bottarga" and "zuppa dello chef". The service was friendly and the food was served quickly. The quality of the appetizer was good, but the carbonara was way oversalted, and the soup with the catch of the day seemed very simple flavor-wise (tomato soup with broken pasta). As foreigners with almost no Italian knowledge there was a language barrier with the waiter speaking also almost no English and we didn't know that they only served wine or water as drinks. Complimentary bread was nice though. Our visit was only okay and we would not return again, sadly.
