Expanificio In Agrigento

It was a beautiful warm evening at the end of September, and I went for a meal with a friend. Sitting outside was lovely — the atmosphere alone made it a pleasant start. The food was good, but the experience was spoiled by the attitude of the main waiter. He had to be in control of everything — very focused, like a hawk — and the only one allowed to take orders. Once you managed to get his attention, he was efficient, but otherwise, it was impossible to catch his eye. Funny enough, even with his overcontrolling manner, the cocktails that should have come first arrived only after we kept asking for them. The other waiters did not dare to help, though later a lady (probably the owner) came to apologise for cocktails being late, which was appreciated. Would I go again? Probably not.

Great location, atmosphere and food!

Ravioli and bruschetta are world-class, Italian Wagyu is mediocre in quality; they should advertise it differently. The rest is OK, service is pleasant. Everything still has room for improvement.

The sardine and beccafico skewer is excellent.

You'll need ro reserve a table in advance, but that just lets you know how good it is, frequented by locals and tourists alike. They do a fabulous Sardine Skewer and for you steak lovers, a Kobe Wagyu steak that is simply to die for. The place is really nicely decked out, and the atmosphere is superb, from the cocktail lounge to the table. If you're in Agrigento, this is one of those must nights out for all you foodies.

We really liked it. They served us very well and quickly. I missed a bit of quantity, but it was delicious.

We had dinner at this restaurant and were really happy, it was perfect in every way, the food was all delicious, the service was excellent, the waiting time was minimal even though the place was almost full on a Monday, the quality/price ratio was really good and finally the staff were very kind, especially the owner, nothing to say, a wonderful experience.

Ristrutturazione eccellente e molto curata alle porte del centro storico di Agrigento, con una buona proposta gastronomica, una cucina tipica ma con variazioni interessanti. Servizio eccellente anche su fuori menù (intolleranze etc,). é stata davvero una sorpresa soprattutto la location, paragonata al resto della città che è stato abbastanza deludente (sito archeologico a parte). Bello anche annesso lounge bar! Nota importante: la cucina che si intravedeva bene dalla nostra posizione, era davvero tenuta molto bene. ordinata e pulita come anche le divise dei cuochi. Non è poco quando si tratta di cibo. Consigliato

Excelente comida en la parte antigua de Agrigento. Hicimos una reserva pero a las 19. Quince personas estaban haciendo cola en la calle para una mesa.
