The food is delicious but the waitresses are always angry.

For dinner, with friends, roast beef, pizza, delicious dessert, courtesy and hospitality... a cheerful evening spent, the room beautiful, welcoming.

I had the opportunity to dine one evening in August at this restaurant, located in a fairly isolated spot. The restaurant is accessed from a dirt road, and the parking lot is completely dark. The restaurant is adjacent to a sort of campsite, with containers converted into bungalows. The waiter who served us forgot an appetizer, and the two first courses arrived at different times. We had indicated, since there were four of us, that the two first courses would be shared, but the waiter forgot the plates to share them. The first courses (risotto with datterini tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella, and spaghetti with sea urchins) were average, with the risotto slightly overcooked. The fried fish was good, but not worth returning for. For dessert, we had two spumoni and a soft-centred cheesecake that was actually a very ordinary ice cream with sprinkles on top. The bill for: 2 appetizers - 2 first courses - 2 second courses - 3 desserts - water, wine, and coffee was €130.

Good pizza but not the best, a bit of a wait

A typical farmhouse nestled in the Salento countryside. A charming and modern restaurant with a wide selection of local and traditional dishes. Excellent service. Recommended for a relaxing evening immersed in nature.

We also stayed overnight. The pizza was excellent, and the other dishes were also of a high standard, beautifully presented, and very tasty. The freshness of the products on our plates was palpable :) It was a perfect time spent at the Italian Farm; it has everything you need to fully relax and experience the Italian provincial atmosphere of Puglia :)

A quaint place, succulent dishes, and friendly staff. I'll be back soon.
