Amazing wine, amazing people! The family made excellent food, and paired really well with the wine. Also lovely friends that showed us around and helped with translation. Just a really positive experience 🙌🏻🙌🏻🍷🍝
We went during the harvest period, which made everything more evocative. After a rich appetizer consisting of cured meats, cheeses and bruschetta, we had lunch with cavate with sauce and an excellent cut of veal. The pasta and sauce were prepared at home by Mr. Sanfilippo. Excellent natural wines, especially the macerated white.
There were 4 of us, we booked a tasting of the company's wines with dinner.
You can see that Francesco is a very passionate young man and eager for knowledge, he is supported by a wonderful family.
Very interesting wines: the macerated white, very fragrant and elegant, easy to drink, I really liked it. The red, delicious, fragrant, complex, beautiful evolution in the glass as the minutes pass. At the end of dinner it was splendid.
Dinner was a wonderful experience. Pampered by the whole family, we immediately felt at ease. An endless series of appetizers, above all sweet and sour peppers, caponata and cheese seasoned with spring onions.
The busiate with pistachio pesto (their own production) is excellent. The standard pasta is also good.
Good barbecue with horse meat, sausages and bacon rolled around a spring onion.
Watermelon ice cream and chocolate salami to finish.
What can I say, an experience that I highly recommend.
