I returned to this place after a long time, and everything is still the same. Upon entering, you can smell the mold; it could use a good refresh. The tortillas with the "Mexican" salsa that we received weren't the best; in fact, the salsa was a simple tomato sauce with a bit of heat, and maybe some other spices, not the typical Mexican salsa. But other than that, everything else was very good. We ordered a burrito and a picadillo, which were good. The waiters were very kind and attentive. One more thing, I don't know if it was a coincidence or if it's always like this, but the menu on the website is different from the one we were given on site.

I ate at Escondido and absolutely loved it! A welcoming place, with attention to detail and a truly pleasant atmosphere. Delicious dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and tastefully presented. Friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended!

The place would be nice, too. It's a shame the wait is so long. Waiting 20 minutes for dessert seems excessive, and I think it's the least I can do if I order an appetizer before the rest of the dishes. The portions are small for the price and not very tasty. The nachos were soggy and salty. Honestly, I would never go back.

14/03/2026: Unfortunately, I have to change my rating this evening. The wait was too long. Booked for 9pm, arrived at 8:55pm, and the food arrived at 9:47pm. Excessive.
13/03/2026: A wonderful experience, Edoardo, truly fantastic! We want lots of cinnamon sweets.
