They work hard like few others, and given the little space available, hats off to them. Kind and courteous, they have a good choice for breakfast, aperitif, lunch or dinner and the prices are honest. Excellent choice for the cafeteria, also a great place to grab a bite to eat for lunch. Small place, but the tables are there and the service is quick.

Very good address, establishment seen by chance at the exit of the Cavour metro station. A small dish with lots of choice, very well presented and quality. Welcoming staff.

Excellent coffee shop with honest prices. Recommended for those who come from outside Rome and are looking for a classic Italian coffee shop with honest prices (unlike others in Rome). In addition to the coffee shop, they also do lunch, where you can find ready-made dishes (deli type) heated on the spot. I had a marocchino and it was excellent.

Very welcoming to tourist. Explained us the process. Told us history of building. Explained the glass floor how it use to be a Mansion from 18th century. Great food.

A cafe I stopped by while looking at the night view of the Colosseum. I thought the tourist attractions near the Colosseum were expensive and tasteless, so I came back and it was a good choice. I recommend the chate latte.

Great coffee, great panini. The sheer speed with which the barman served 20 people was crazy to me. Good place to grab a coffee right out of the station.

Assolutamente adatto per un caffè od un pranzo, addirittura è un piccolissimo museo, si vede chiaramente in un posto al centro del locale, un pavimento ed una tubatura romana.

03/04/2025: I had the most delicious pistachio cream croissant I've ever had in my life. You can't tell from the photo, but the dough smelled like orange, and the rich pistachio cream was overflowing until the very end. If I come to Rome again, I'd like to stay at San Giovanni just for this croissant.
30/03/2025: Historic bar of the Valentini family who, after having managed the place for many years, passed the baton to the Felli family. A point of reference in the neighborhood and a place for pleasant meetings in the sun sitting at the tables and enjoying pleasant breakfasts and aperitifs.
