A magical place, as long as the lawn mowers are silent 🙂 But without regular care, there is no magic! That's why I think €13 entry per person is reasonable. The small colored overview map you receive is very helpful and the free app is also very informative. So I spent a very nice and relaxing afternoon here, completely independent of a guided tour. Some of the trees and plants I have never seen before! A visit to the impressive grounds is a feast for the senses: great impressions of the garden and views of the lake, surrounded by countless plants from all over the world, the scent of flowers and coffee alternate sometimes and at the same time invite you to relax and linger. Great, I'd love to come back. There is a restaurant at the entrance and a bistro further up, each with clean toilets. The area is largely barrier-free, but hilly. Dogs are allowed to be carried on a leash. However, I didn't notice a playground for children.

I visited the gardens of Villa Taranto on the occasion of my wedding anniversary. Never was a more appropriate choice. The cost of the ticket, which may initially seem high, ultimately turns out to be more than justified. The variety of plants present in the garden, the care, the magical views it offers are unparalleled. The return is a must.

A wonderful, wonderful, beautiful park. Really really beautiful. A MUST for every visit to Lake Maggiore.

A visit is worth it in every respect. Botanists and laypeople alike will get their money's worth. 13 € for such a huge park is absolutely reasonable compared to Isola Bella
