We booked ahead so as not to miss out on this hidden gem due to the limited indoor seats (there are also outdoor seats in the height of summer). The surroundings are intimate, a beautiful vaulted ceilinged room, filled with the best local and Italian wines. Ronnie and Danni were superb hosts for our culinary journey around the Valle D'Itria. Having no menu, taking the finest, freshest, seasonal ingredients from the region and showcasing them in small plate format. Across several courses, we were treated to local meats, cheeses, vegetables, and breads. Special mention needs to go to the buratta, the chilli Ricotta wrapped in riddled courgette, and the Martina Franca cured meats. We drank a local white wine and enjoyed lots of discussions with Danni about the sourcing and preparation of the dishes. Run, don't walk, to this excellent restaurant.

We went to Ronny thinking of a good glass of wine accompanied by an aperitif but right from the start we realized that everything was really special, from the professional welcome of Ronny and his collaborator Daniela, from the surprising competence on everything, as well as from the very refined and particular setting of the place and the spectacular aperitif accompanied by an excellent wine. I can truly say that it was a taste experience of unparalleled quality rather than an aperitif. Not only do I recommend it but I warmly invite you to have an aperitif at Ronny's for its uniqueness in the genre. Supreme quality of food and wines.
