Enô In Zoldo alto

A very cosy and affordable hotel. It's a very good alternative for the absurdly expensive stays in Cortina D'ampezzo, being only an hour away from attractive hikes and ferratas. Around the hotel, there are a couple of shops, where you can get the most basic supplies. The interior is well-maintained and clean and the rooms have everything a hiker would require. The hall and lobby downstairs, empty and deserted off-season, with silent music coming from an abandoned bar, makes a little spooky, impression. My only complaint is that the staff is very hard to reach. The reply time on booking is measured in days rather than hours. It's all nice to have full self-service, which definitely works when you don't need anything. Once you need some assistance, it can really backfire on you. I had the dubious pleasure of needing to contact someone, and I discovered that none of the emergency numbers work. Other than that, it's a highly recommended place.
