Courtesy, cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff are the first thing that strikes you, immediately after comes the typically rustic location that makes you feel a little bit in one of those classic Mexican or Venezuelan cantinas. Next we get to the courses, we can say really good very good kitchen staff, from preparation to plating and the goodness of the food. Everything is taken care of and served with the meticulousness that you don't even expect from a typical Latin restaurant. I had been to this place back in 2008, I had eaten very well at the time and it was confirmed to be excellent last night. I absolutely recommend to all those who love Latin cuisine and why not, also to others to try these foods with their very particular flavors and fragrances. Very good Very good everyone. i love mexican food, but unfortunately, there aren’t many good options here in italy. especially not in my small hometown. this place is the only one that pops up when you search for mexican food nearby, and i’ll admit, i’ve always looked at it with a bit of judgment. the photos didn’t look very convincing, and let’s be honest, mexican food in italy can be… risky. still, i’d always been curious, and today i finally gave it a try. and honestly? i was pleasantly surprised. the place is cozy and charming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. the menu had tons of options, which made choosing a bit of a challenge (in a good way). we started with tortilla chips and patatas with salsa. simple but tasty. then i went for the chili burrito, which was supposed to be spicy but really wasn’t. aside from the lack of heat, i have no complaints. the burrito was solid. cheesy, comforting, and served with sour cream and rice that balanced the dish nicely. the meat was tender and flavorful. to finish off the meal, i tried the caramelised bananas with rum and ice cream. an unexpected combo, but really delicious. i feel like i owe this place an apology. it may not be 100% authentic, but it’s doing a pretty great job, and i’ll definitely be back.
