Il Grottino al Porto

18/10/2025: Excellent. Fresh fish, excellent appetizers, and shrimp-filled ravioli. Prices are in line with the area and the type of restaurant.
13/10/2025: Nothing special, nothing bad. A standard restaurant, serving standard fish without any notable variations or special touches. We dined as a couple, sharing an appetizer and then two first courses plus a fried fish dish. A bottle of local wine (S. Andrea) was included. The prices were moderately high, but still in line with neighboring restaurants.

Torre Capovento

18/08/2025: We spent a relaxing day enjoying the beautiful sea and good food. Highly recommended.
17/08/2025: A good restaurant in a great location overlooking the beach and the sea, where you can enjoy the view of Sperlonga. I visited in the evening and it's quite romantic and quiet for its clientele. We dined while listening to the waves and background music. We chose several courses for the menu, and I must say the quality and preparation were good. For appetizers, we really enjoyed the fresh octopus salad and the caprese salad. I had requested the tartare included on the menu, but both salmon and tuna were missing. I opted for the red shrimp one, but I wasn't too keen on the quality of the shrimp and the plating. It was served with a side salad, which I personally don't like because it enhances the flavor of the shrimp. For first courses, we enjoyed both the seafood risotto and the linguine, both with Piennolo tomatoes and the white pasta with mussels, which were delicious. The wine list isn't very extensive but has a limited selection. For dessert, an excellent lemon delicacy from a Formia pastry shop. Prices are average. The building is not very modern in some respects. It could be more attractive with a little renovation, especially with the floors, furnishings, and lighting, which are a bit dated. Having recently celebrated 30 years in business, the location is stunning. I hope the owners invest in improving it and making their guests' stay more enjoyable.
