26/08/2025: In the beating heart of 'e Saliern', Salernum, Salerno, in the true soul of a city that is not the glossy one of unsung glitter but that of the historic center and sincere roots, the noble and popular Duca welcomes with simplicity and popular grace those who wish to taste the typical dishes of our cuisine. I found myself in the happy company of close friends and family, compliments to the kitchen and the service staff, giving 'a magna', taking care of a basic need like this, is too beautiful, and at the Duca it is done with a smile, going up and down the stairs in this historic building, from the ground floor room to the terrace, with the aromas of mussels, the Duca's scialatiello, the fried 'e paranza, the pizzas, with house wine and Peroni, at a fair and familiar price, because that's what it's all about: offering hospitality in a simple way, without frills, and saying goodbye with a smile, a handshake, a goodbye, and a thank you. 16/08/2025: Our host in Salerno recommended this restaurant and it was a real experience. We had a lovely dinner with calamari fritti, orata, pasta norma and tiramisu. We recommend all of those dishes, they we’re excellent. The atmosphere is traditional and the restaurant familial with grandpa cooking in the kitchen. The service was excellent as well. We would definitely eat there again!
