As I told the friends who were with me at dinner, I can say that you are 100% in Argentina, there are no "gourmet" friendships or culinary contaminations, what you will find is the same as what you would find if you took a time machine and set it to Buenos Aires, 1989... I highlight the goodness of their empanadas, a flan that really deserves it, a well-stocked Argentine wine cellar... And the meat? the grilled cooking really makes the difference and the more noble cuts (bife de chorizo, cuadril are really top) I was curious to eat the costillas y el matambre, the real cuts of an Argentine asado) and how they would have managed the hardness of the meat, while noting the "trick" I must say that the result is more than satisfactory. There is no need to add anything to the already countless positive reviews of this place! ok if you want to read I'll start from the beginning: I was looking for a place in Cagliari that did meat and vegetables not grilled but on the grill, the real one, the one that gives you the unmistakable taste of the difference between meat cooked at home on a grill and that of a restaurant-bistro cooked on a classic stovetop griddle (you understand me)... with this polar vortex ed.. that those who don't have a fireplace inside the house, grilling outside becomes an uphill task, well, I find "El Sabor Argentino" in the search results, after reading about 700 reviews I say: I found my home!! I ask, I book, that's it!! I'LL CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY THERE! I couldn't have made a better choice, as soon as we entered it felt like we were part of the family, the accommodating owner and the king waiter welcomed us as if we were always friends, with a kindness that would leave you astonished, we, I must say, are not easy customers, and I personally don't give reviews except that it's not really worth it... but and I say but the meat melted in the mouth, the starters were sublime with a tasty and fresh inside, the fried foods were crispy without aftertastes of those overused oils (who is in the sector and already knows it) then the grilled vegetables were wonderful, unpretentious, tasty, crunchy, my vegetarian sisters-in-law expressed their appreciation without hesitation, the recommended wine was excellent but on the next round we will move on to something superior!! (always Argentinian obviously), ok let's finish with the dessert part (which I love) and a show of chocolate mousse and crepes... then still thirsty we taste another wine proposed by the owner, what can I say... I know you will ask yourself the price... less than what you would spend to do all this at home, and here I close. I can only say Thanks to "El Sabor Argentino" we will see you very very soon!!!!!!!!
