I discovered this place on a trip to Auronzo. Visible from the road, the El Gringo sign is a real draw. The atmosphere is good, the pizza is very good, easy to digest, and the beer is of good quality, with a variety of choices. I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and quick.

We stopped for pizza without any particular expectations. We were pleasantly surprised; the ingredients were excellent, fresh and high-quality, and the staff's courtesy was greatly appreciated.
The bombardino semifreddo was excellent.

I came with some friends, and I have to say that Gringo's is hands down the best pizza in the area. Unfortunately, I find it truly scandalous that in 2026, a pizzeria doesn't have lactose-free mozzarella. What should a person with lactose intolerance do? Force themselves to order a pizza with vegetables and no mozzarella, given that all the others have mozzarella and can't be substituted with lactose-free?
Get updated, because it's truly absurd.

Everything is perfect, a welcoming and clean place, smiling staff and perfect service, the pizza 🍕 is really good, constantly baked and with a wide choice, from the traditional one to the special one with a peel, and in all the "sauces", compliments to everyone, excellent choice of wines 🍷🥂 and beer 🍻🍺, homemade desserts, and excellent prices for the quality offered, highly recommended 🍺🥂🍻🍕🍷🍕💯🔝

Since it opened, it's been our go-to pizzeria!
Every time we visit our mountain home, even if it's just for a night, Pizza al Gringo is a must-try.
Fabulous and, above all, easily digestible pizza, both plated and à la carte (like Pinsa Romana).
Maximum attention to the ingredients, excellent quality, very kind and attentive staff, cleanliness and comfort of the place are top notch. The pizzas are constantly updated with seasonal ingredients and much more. Amazing homemade desserts! Congratulations!

We are four Argentinians working in northern Italy and were looking for a place where we could easily meet. We chose Calalzo and, along with it, Pizzeria El Gringo! We were truly surprised because the evening was wonderful. From the moment we booked a week in advance, to the availability even before we arrived, to the kindness of the staff, the friendliness of the waitresses, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and, of course, the excellent food: delicious! We highly recommend this place; we will definitely be back.
