The atmosphere is very well-kept. The mountain hut is equipped with children's playground equipment. The staff is very friendly. The food is very good and the prices are fair. It's easy to reach by parking in the valley and continuing on foot for about 50 minutes. You can even take a stroller, although the slope is quite steep.

Delicious food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. There's a nice outdoor seating area. The Kaiserschmarrn is delicious (but unfortunately, without raisins). Service was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. The hike only takes an hour at most.

Rableidalm

30/10/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by the Rableid Alm! While most hikers bypass this rustic hut and continue on to the often overcrowded Eishof Hut, we enjoyed a wonderful break here. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and authentic. The magnificent view of the Ötztal Alps is particularly impressive. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.
19/10/2025: Beautiful alpine pasture with a fantastic mountain panorama. Good value for money. I had gluten-free roasted potatoes with fried egg and bacon.

02/11/2025: The food is very good, but the price-performance ratio is completely off. Overpriced for the poor service. An exceptional spot, a great lawn with a fantastic view of the Schlern mountain... Very nice if you can sit outside. Simple tables, like in the old days – the owners have hardly invested in modernization: that can have its own charm.
