02/04/2025: Passing along Via Balbi in the historic center of Genoa near the various universities, I entered this café bar of the well-known chain of typical Genoese cuisine of bars and cafés well present in the city and I had an excellent and delicious coffee at the counter with a small glass of sparkling water. The bar is small with many internal tables in the various internal rooms and is frequented mainly by young university students and it is possible to have breakfast and also lunch. As always in the various Mentelocale venues the strong point is represented by everything really lovely staff welcoming smiling competent kind friendly and helpful. They don't have table service, I think they only do it for lunch and so you have to pay first and then go to the counter and place your order. I will come back another time for lunch. Finally, the prices are really good.
