With the complete reconstruction, this sensational vantage point finally offers adequate seating. There are plenty of tables and chairs on the ground floor inside and on the terrace in front. Plus, a fantastic rooftop terrace. The entire parking area is now completely paved. I think the prices are reasonable. I can understand the solution for the restroom from the operator's perspective. However, guests should be informed of this in advance. It's certainly annoying when you're holding a €1 voucher and have already paid the bill.

We had one of the best cakes ever here, for €4.90. Absolutely a fair price.

The new building has lost all its visual appeal; it's too modern and doesn't fit into the landscape. The cakes are still delicious.

I liked the modern, bright ambiance, the friendly service, and the quality of the coffee and food. Prices are reasonable, but you're paying a bit for the view. The restroom issue is rather suboptimal. The service staff should proactively inform guests about the procedure when taking their orders. Overall, though, it's highly recommended.

A very pleasant place. You can order coffee, apfelstrudel, and other delicious cakes. You can also grab a bite to eat and buy a special. There's a restroom. You pay 1 euro and then get a voucher for one item from the menu back. Beautiful views. Inside, there's a central stove where you can warm up. Lots of tables inside and out. A viewing terrace. Ample parking. Greetings to the very nice waitress, whose mother is from Poland. It was great to hear the staff speak Polish. We recommend the restaurant and the place itself. It's worth a visit.

Restroom use costs €1—best before ordering/buying anything, as the voucher can only be redeemed when ordering. Small amounts cannot be paid by card.

The old Edelweiss Hut was completely replaced this year by a new building, making the previous reviews obsolete. The modernist new building, a combination of wood and glass and a rooftop viewing platform, is largely successful, and the cakes and latte macchiatos are still delicious. The new voucher system for using the restrooms is clearly in need of improvement: if you consume something and then want to use the restroom (€1.00), the voucher is of little use, and the limitation of voucher usage to one voucher per person/product is completely incomprehensible. If you need to use the restroom multiple times—which is certainly possible—you can only redeem one voucher per product—but hey, that's completely unacceptable (> hidden price increase) and has led to a price reduction.

We waren hier langs gereden omdat we geen tolwegen wilden. Het is makkelijk om te parkeren. Voor de plek een mooie kaart en lekkere koffie. Heel vriendelijk en relaxte bediening.
