05/11/2025: When you arrive in the area, the first challenge is parking... remember, we're in the city. If you haven't booked, you'll have to be a bit lucky to find a spot, despite the coldness of the lady you'll talk to. The name of the place is almost a guarantee; the "paniscia" was well-made, while another typical dish, the "rustisciada," was nothing more than a stew made with various amounts of meat and bits of low-quality, not-very-hot polenta. The ambiance is reminiscent of the '70s and '80s, nothing special, neither old nor new. Friendly service, fair prices.
01/11/2025: A true destination for enjoying Novara's paniscia, prepared according to tradition, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The set menu, available Monday through Friday, is also excellent, always varied and featuring well-prepared dishes. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, perfect for a business lunch or a relaxing break. The staff is courteous and prompt in their service, helping to make the experience enjoyable. A recommended place for those who want to savor typical Novara cuisine without spending too much, with the certainty of leaving satisfied.
