I stumbled upon Eby’s quite by chance and, to be honest, wasn’t expecting much. So the surprise was all the greater. What particularly stuck in my mind was an older gentleman behind the bar who prepared the shots with such passion, calm, and visible attention to detail that it was almost a small ceremony. You could immediately tell that this wasn’t just a place where drinks were served, but where genuine enthusiasm was at work. This experience was so special and unique that I returned on the second evening of my stay – something that rarely happens to me when traveling. Besides the fantastic shots, the whole package is just right: a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and a place where you feel welcome. In short: Eby’s is a place for special moments. If you happen to be passing by in Florence, you should definitely go in – it could be just as surprising and unforgettable as it was for me.

This is the best bar in Florence, Eby, Akyra, and Jack are some of the best people I’ve ever met. If you do not go to Eby’s you did not go to Florence. Don’t miss out on the best bar in Florence.

Great drinks and better empanadas. Get a caipirinha and whatever empanadas are fresh out of the oven and thank me later.

If you've never been there, go! It's been years since I've been there, and the little street has been really redeveloped! Amazing!

This is for the actual restaurant across the street. The food was good, but the show stopper was the salsa and the chips. Do yourself a favor and get nachos. You will not regret it. The seasoning on the chips, blended with the Italian cheese, and the salsa, creama fresca, and guacamole will be what you are wanting. We also tried the empanada, small burrito, and small quesadilla. All good.

I came in at 10 AM, hungry, and in a hurry. They don't sell coffee, but they do sell croquettes, water, canned drinks, and some bread. I ordered a curry-flavored croquette with cheese. The owner was so friendly, and the food was cheap and good for a quick bite :)
