Duo Restaurant In Chiavari

L' ambiente, ricavato da un'antica tipografia, è arredato in stile minimalista, a mio parere con grande gusto: c'è una bella atmosfera! I camerieri erano preparatissimi e molto gentili. Si aprono le danze con quell'incredibile cestino di pane e grissini fatti a mano, che da soli meritano di fare un salto! Noi abbiamo preso vari antipasti di pesce, tutti davvero ottimi, proseguendo chi con primi, chi con secondi ben cucinati e con tocchi di originalità nel gusto, per niente scontati. Cito, fra tutto, una salsa che accompagna un sashimi, con sentori di mandorla davvero sorprendente. Purtroppo era rimasto poco spazio per i dolci, ma abbiamo provato il sorbetto al mirtillo con pepe del Madagascar ed è stato anche quello graditissimo. Sinceramente non riesco a spiegarmi le recensioni negative: per noi meritano dei gran complimenti. Il prezzo? Non è una trattoria e in cucina si fa ricerca... la qualità degli ingredienti e la sapiente lavorazione si pagano, come è giusto che sia!

Good overall rating, but some details of the menu could be improved! Furthermore, the glasses and water bottle were very unsuitable and uncomfortable We will definitely be back.. but a little heating in winter doesn't hurt!

Un posto molto molto "cool", arredamento e stoviglie particolarmente curati e originali, cibo di qualità, cucinato in maniera semplice e leggera. Personale gentile anche se non particolarmente cordiale. Servizio in tempi giusti, prezzo proporzionato. Da ritornare!

Definitely go! Here, a young team cooks the area's classics in the best quality in a minimalist form. Super fresh seafood, fine starters (grilled salad, just great), warming pasta and exquisite desserts. Price-performance is incredibly cheap. Very nice atmosphere in an old palazzo with a modern dining room and show kitchen. Attentive service.

The quality of the raw materials is certainly indisputable, but in my opinion there is a big problem in putting them on the plate. Let me explain better, when the dish you ordered arrives, for example ramen or pasta with garlic, oil and chilli with sea urchins, you expect to find something on the plate that takes you back to those dishes, but unfortunately you find yourself in front of it, in any case excellent dishes, but which betray expectations, without even a hint that refers to the name of the dish. Then the menu is aesthetically very beautiful, elegant, I would recommend more care in keeping them (the drawings were detached) and a more complete description of the ingredients (there are many allergies). Very polite staff, but a little absent, when I go to a place that aspires to certain levels, I expect greater attention towards the customer and their needs. (Very happy that they accept dogs, even large ones, which is not to be taken for granted for a classy place) If I'm in the area I will definitely come back to try something else.

We made a reservation months in advance for the final day of our vacation because we've heard so much about this place. Even though the food was good, they were out of our top choice for the main course, the pigeon. Our selection from the wine menu was also not available. Our waiter was nowhere to be found and once he came to take our order, we explicitly told him that we wanted to space out our courses. However, from the sashimi to the pasta to the entrecôte, everything was brought at the same time. Their cellar is clearly not kept at the right temperature since our red and dessert wines were both very hot. Overall, the food was good, although not significantly better than what you would have in the rest of the Ligurian coast. Service was absolutely terrible.

Nice, comfortable interior with a relaxing atmosphere. Good food, especially the meat and pasta. Friendly staff. And thankfully, air conditioning!

Restaurant with a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Abundant and delicious dishes. The breadsticks are truly delicious. I recommend the appetizers and first courses.
