Siamo stati qui recentemente, il ristorante è uno dei storici di Santa teresa. L’arredamento molto semplice ma la cucina autentica sarda. Abbiamo preso un risotto di mare fantastico. Prezzi nella media e personale molto amichevole e professionale.
We dined here having tried to get a table for 6 ( without a reservation) in other restaurants in the area, which were all too busy, so we weren’t expecting much as it wasn’t that busy.
It turned out to be a very good meal with an excellent standard of typical Italian home cooked meals. Some local families also came along later and dined on the outside seating area which was a good sign.
Calamari starter was generous size with a nice and crispy / dry finish.
The seafood spaghetti for 2 was huge and could have easily fed 3 people and the mussels were also very plump and fresh. Really good home cut chips/ fries also. House wine was drinkable but not the best we had in STG that week.
The waiter was also very friendly and did everything without fuss and tried to please all diners at all tables. The cook also came out of the kitchen a few times to serve up some dishes directly to dinners
Overall a very nice family meal of accomplished home cooking. Good value for money also.
One minor issue was : the waiter offered us 4 Limoncellos which I assumed were ‘ on the house’ and I’m sure he meant but another waitress who made up the bill charged us for them. I didn’t bother saying anything as we had enjoyed the meal. We still left them a tip.
Despite the not very appealing back street area it was a nice dining experience and would rate it 8/10.
