If you are visiting Genoa and near by this amazing eatery then I'd recommend you try it out. This review is rather late as it's Jan 2025 and I was there in June 2024. But as I am going back to Genoa soon and I will be heading here every night for dinner! And... if you are Scottish and feel homesick, there is a really nice Scottish pub not far away!

Pasta ottima e migliore di Genova per chi vuole mangiare TANTO e bene . Porzione pasta mai mangiata così grossa , assolutamente di qualità e gentilezza del personale

Erano almeno cinquant’anni che non entravo in questo locale che ai tempi si chiamava il Selvatico, quindi grande emozione oggi quando con mia figlia ho varcato la soglia e ho ritrovato gran parte dell’arredamento di allora. Piatti semplici, ma gustosi, ad esempio la minestra di legumi e cereali, il brasato con patate, il semifreddo allo zabaione. Prezzo davvero economici. Ottima soluzione per chi si trova in zona e apprezza lo stile vintage.

08/02/2025: In the middle of a cold snowy day, finding this refuge open and ready to serve you a hot dish was really nice, I really appreciate the effort of the managers to stay open when all the other refuges around were closed. Top mushroom sauce, shame about the overcooked tagliatelle, but we appreciate the effort

20/03/2025: My husband and I tried this place tonight and we were pleasantly surprised. It's a takeaway place with the option of eating at the tables. I think it's one of the places with the best value for money. Kevin, the owner, is a very kind and welcoming guy and made us feel at home. He explained to us how some of his dishes were born, typical of his country, with Japanese, Ecuadorian and Italian influences. We ate some prawns that were out of this world, the best ever in my opinion! The portions are very generous and the menu is simple but at the same time refined and very well-kept. The place is very well organized, clean and welcoming. We will be back very soon, thanks for everything!
02/03/2025: very kind staff and treat you as if you were family and are very helpful and the food is spectacular especially the gnocchi with pesto, fair prices and not too high.
