Dining at Drogheria Culinaria in Reggio Calabria was a memorable experience. These people really know how to cook. Fantastic, tender meat, perfectly seasoned steak with a beautiful crust & hand-rolled papardelle with a seasonal sauce featuring zucchini flowers and cacciocavallo. Great place for a foodie to explore 😊

The restaurant has many tables, and there's a lot of noise. The men's restroom isn't locked and is very dirty. There aren't enough bathrooms for the number of customers. I ordered a sorbet, but it was a supermarket sorbet, undrinkable. I don't recommend it; the price is very high for what the restaurant offers.

I wasn't thrilled.
Five of us ordered three appetizers to share: fried cod chips (nothing special, it needed more pola, it was just batter), fried octopus with Tropea onions (average, the onions were very good, the octopus wasn't very tender), and swordfish parmigiana, the only dish I really liked.
Followed by a main course each. I personally tried the Costa Viola, which is a first course (you can choose the pasta, so on the waiter's recommendation, we opted for gnocchi with mussels, clams, calamari, and fried eggplant (pretty good), and swordfish rolls (in this case, the bergamot flavor was overwhelming and a bit off-putting).
The dishes were generous, and the prices were also high; the cover charge alone was €3.50.
We also had a craft beer each, which should have been served colder.
Overall rating: 3.5, but with Milanese prices for a restaurant that isn't even on the beach. Total cost for one and a half dishes each plus beer was €37.

Esperienza molto buona! Servizio impeccabile. Il nostro cameriere gentile e professionale. Tutto buonissimo dall’antipasto al dolce. Nonostante il locale fosse pieno con banchetti siamo stati benissimo. Il prezzo non è basso ma ne vale la pena. Ci ritorneremo!

Un ristorante molto caratteristico e carino dove si mangiano pietanze fatte con cura. Io ho preso un primo piatto troncatura allo stoccafisso. Ottimo lo stocco ma la pasta era scotta e la quantità era pochi grammi.
