This is the most historic café in the Sanctuary. I still remember the emotion and taste of the torcetti after the procession to the Basilica. Staff at the tables busy and very friendly. Not too big place with few tables and the problem of all the rooms in the building.... the bathroom. Good ice cream and sufficient choice of cups

Made a stop in a historic pastry shop in front of the Vicoforte sanctuary! The ice cream is good, the pastry shop is excellent but the service needs to improve. The furniture could use an update!

08/03/2025: Hospitality and professionalism are at home. Paolo is a true host, where feeling at home is standard practice. Good friendly and professional staff.
21/10/2024: I only had a coffee, but judging by the quantity and types of bottles, they seem very good to me. I'd say worth a try.

Bar Pasticceria Franchino

26/03/2025: Good coffee shop that I normally frequent. This morning, unfortunately, a friend of mine and I were served croissants that in our opinion were from the day before. The owner told us that they were cooked for too long, well, I don't think that was the case. Let's admit that he didn't make us pay for it.
19/03/2025: Every time I go in I am a bit confused, the service at the pastry shop is poor I would say. I asked if they had a product that we bought at carnival but the clerk didn't seem to know about its existence. It took a good 5 minutes before another person intervened telling us that it was a temporary product. Good products, but high prices for the quality, there are better pastry shops at the moment
