A small but fine restaurant with limited seating (reservations are recommended, especially during peak season). The ambiance is truly lovely, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious; we particularly enjoyed the gnudi and wild boar, but the appetizer and dessert (tiramisu) are also highly recommended! The service was friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive! Thank you for a lovely evening!

We had lunch here on the advice of some artisans from Castagneto. Our expectations were not disappointed. The food is really great and the menu is based on typical dishes from the area! The staff is very kind and very hospitable. The place is small but they are also equipped with seats for children and games to entertain them with. We had a really good time

Lunch with friends during the week. No reservation but we arrived very early, around noon. Quiet, small (3/4 tables inside, a couple outside) but welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff. Short waiting time for dishes. Typical dishes. Honest prices. At the beginning, separately, they also brought us some seasoned bruschetta.

Very characteristic place, extremely small in the center and close to the museum dedicated to Carducci. the view was exceptional, offering a glimpse of the valley down to the sea, of breathtaking beauty. The food was exceptional. The service is impeccable and friendly. You might think it's an expensive place, but it's not. Prices within everyone's reach, fantastic staff, intriguing venue and characteristic food make it a place to absolutely visit.

Sin dalla prima accoglienza, Tana del Drago dimostra di meritare una stella Michelin: ambiente caloroso, servizio attento e un’energia contagiosa che nasce dalla passione dello staff. La Ristoratrice Chiara, con la sua cura ai dettagli, e la Sommelier Elisa, che abbina con maestria vini locali a ogni portata, creano un’esperienza impeccabile. Lo Chef Francesco firma piatti che raccontano la tradizione toscana con un tocco contemporaneo, elevando ogni ingrediente. Il progetto di inserimento lavorativo per ragazzi con piccole disabilità, seppur ambizioso, non ha avuto il successo sperato, per l'elevato bagaglio professionale che hanno alcuni membri dello staff. Nonostante ciò, l’intento è lodevole e testimonia l’anima solidale della Tana del Drago. I Piatti da Provare Tagliere Comune: eccellenze di salumi e formaggi a km 0, un vero omaggio al territorio di Castagneto Carducci. Gnudi al Sugo di Salsiccia: la tenacia della carne si sposa con la storia della cucina locale, raccontata in ogni morso. 07/06/2025: Absolutely the best pizza in the area. I am surprised to read negative reviews about the dough, which I found light and tasty. After the renovation the place is also welcoming. Excellent prices for the area and discreet service. If I really have to find a negative aspect I would say the size of the pizza, which is really too small. For the rest highly recommended
