We dined at the bistro during our stay at the Pollina Resort. What can I say? A wonderful dinner with exquisite food reimagined by the chef, reflecting our beloved Sicily. We chose both the meat and fish menus, and both were excellent. Chef Antonio was impeccable in everything, very kind and explained the dishes to us. The staff was also super friendly and courteous, and the service was excellent. Not to mention the fabulous location, the view was wonderful, the background music was good, the lighting was wonderful, everything was wonderful ❤️

Everything was fabulous! We vacationed at the Pollina Resort Mangia's. We dined at Donna Floriana, and what can I say, everything was perfect! The various courses of the seafood tasting menu were not only beautiful but truly exquisite (compliments, Chef Mazzola)! The service was also excellent! We'll definitely be back!

On August 15th, I went to DonnaFloriana in Pollina with friends. I have to say it was an extraordinary experience!
First of all, the view is breathtaking; I think few places offer the opportunity to dine with such a romantic panorama.
Chef Antonio (a MasterChef 13 finalist) delighted us with menus that left us speechless: traditional dishes revisited and presented in their essence! I still dream about the caponata... but I assure you, the other dishes are just as amazing... Truly immense.
The service was superb; the girls were very knowledgeable and friendly; they made us feel very comfortable and were helpful and very capable.
In short, it's an experience I highly recommend; the menus are highly recommended, and then... that view is the icing on the cake!

I went to Donna Floriana Bistrot on the evening of Ferragosto (August 15th) and it was an unforgettable evening. The restaurant has an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, the service is attentive and friendly, and the dishes are a true explosion of creativity and flavor: meticulously presented and balanced flavors that reflect a great passion for cooking. 🍽️
Plus, the wonderful surprise of meeting Chef Antonio Mazzola, who was incredibly kind and helpful.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-end gastronomic experience in Palermo.

I wanted to give my daughters and myself a multi-sensory experience, and so I chose Donna Floriana Bistrot at Mangia's Pollina for the evening of Ferragosto. The enchanting atmosphere, with your gaze turned towards the panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, allows you to enjoy the view of the coast stretching towards Cefalù, with its lighthouse, reminding you that everything is real…
Chef Antonio Mazzola is the creator of a set menu with three choices. Ours was seafood-based, as a selection of first and second courses.
The appetizers are a harmony of colors and flavors that take your palate on a journey through Sicily, ranging from traditional to revisited, like the caponata, which I adore! Soft because it's a mousse, and the bite is provided by the small pieces of celery, which add crunch to the creaminess and flavor of a concentration of all the characteristic ingredients of Palermo's Sicilian caponata. Then, parmigiana, Mediterranean sardines, baby octopus, and other small selections of raw ingredients that Mazzola, as a true Sicilian, wanted to leave unchanged.
Then, moving on to the first course, the zucchini and purple shrimp pairing is a familiar one, but he opted for pasta made with spelt flour, which perhaps overshadows the flavor of the dish a bit. However, if you balance the sauce and the shrimp, the harmony of the dish is enhanced on the palate... perhaps it requires a little more soul... but I'm sure the chef will find it with his desire to discover new flavor combinations.
The tuna in a crispy crust tastes like butter, and the contrast unleashes sensory effects between the childish (the cutlet beloved by children) and the sudden adulthood of the soft, unobtrusive fish flavor.
Sweet with an orange aftertaste: "our" Caprese is described by the chef, who, to say goodbye to his guests, personally served us the last flavor extract of the dinner at our table.
Quality is priceless...I know that, having worked in multiple restaurants for passion and work...a little adjustment to the final price would be necessary, but for our chef and to trust him in everything he does and will do, it's acceptable.
The service...the person who described and served the dishes was very good. Attentive and courteous.

Excellent location with a sea view, dishes presented with meticulous attention to detail by chef Antonio, friendly staff, but a flaw is the wine list, which doesn't live up to the dishes served.
My personal opinion would be more effective if the menu already paired with the wines served.
