Don Antonio 1970 In Salerno

It's the first place I go to eat every time I return from the "north" to my Salerno (and if a Neapolitan says so, you can trust me) 😁. The pasta and quality of the ingredients make the 🍕🍕 exceptional, accompanied by impeccable service and a welcoming, well-kept environment with attention to detail. I recommend going midweek if you want to enjoy a moment of tranquility and excellent cuisine. See you next time 👍

very slow service, fried food so-so, decent pizza for 6, when I went last year it was much better

The place is very well organized and the staff is very kind. The dining room is very pleasant, with a nice atmospheric light and lights at the tables. I appreciated the welcome drink, something rare to find. UPDATE - September 2025 The thing that shocked me was mainly the high prices and since the last time I went there, the quality has gone down a bit. The toilet is clean and fresh, not to be underestimate. Good pizzeria but there's room for improvement

We started with some fried foods: they were good, well-presented, and crispy, but honestly, they weren't as impressive as we'd expected. As for the pizza, the quality was definitely raised: light and well-leavened dough, perfectly crispy, and easily digestible. You could taste all the ingredients used: fresh and high-quality. A pizza that truly leaves a great impression. Finally, the bill was also balanced and in line with the experience: a good value. Overall, a great discovery. We'll definitely be back to try other pizzas and perhaps give the fried foods a second chance.

Just having paid 4 euros for 1 croquette is enough to understand that it's a place where I definitely won't return.

The pizzas are delicious; reservations are recommended. The staff is friendly and speaks several languages.

Siamo stati il questo locale venerdì sera (30 maggio), ma ci tengo a fare una recensione in quanto mi è molto piaciuto tutto. Io e mia moglie siamo stati ospiti di amico, quindi non posso sapere il conto finale... ma quello che posso dire e di aver mangiato una tra le 3 pizze più buone della mia vita.... e ne ho mangiate. Impasto leggero, ben cotta, ingredienti di qualità ... l'ho divorata, bordo compreso.. senza sentirmi appesantito. Una bufalina con aggiunta di acciughe... strepitosa. Complimenti anche al personale, educato ed attento. Ci sono passato solo da turista, ma la consiglio vivamente.

Mangiato una pizza ripiena fritta e una classica con cips di melanzane Locale elegante con tanto personale che subito serve e sparecchia , forse un attimo di respiro non farebbe male Pizze buone, costi leggermente sopra la media
