Domus Otium In Atena lucana

Cercavamo un locale diverso, lontano dalla solita offerta da sabato sera e siamo stati soddisfatti. In un’atmosfera serena, con musica di sottofondo, il camino acceso e il freddo esterno, abbiamo consumato una cena piacevolissima. Ivan è un ottimo padrone di casa, che sa consigliare i piatti giusti e l’accompagnamento del vino, con prodotti particolari, non commerciali, genuini, come il cibo e i piatti che ci propone. Le porzioni risultano molto abbondanti e il prezzo veramente onesto

We were looking for a different place, away from the usual Saturday night offer and we were satisfied. In a serene atmosphere, with background music, a lit fireplace and the cold outside, we had a very pleasant dinner. Ivan is an excellent host, who knows how to recommend the right dishes and wine accompaniment, with particular, non-commercial, genuine products, like the food and dishes he offers us. The portions are very generous and the price really honest

My family and I have had the pleasure of having lunch in this restaurant several times and we have always felt welcomed with great warmth. Every time we return, the family atmosphere and the hospitality of the staff make us feel at home. The staff are really friendly, always attentive and helpful, making every visit enjoyable and relaxing. The structure is surrounded by nature, offering an ideal environment to relax and enjoy the genuine flavors of local cuisine, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. I recommend Domus Otium to anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful experience, away from the chaos of the city.

We stopped a bit randomly as a stopover on our way back from holidays and I must say that it was a pleasant surprise. The rustic style structure has recently been excellently renovated. There are 6 rooms, all nice and spacious, with a large bathroom and terrace. There is an internal restaurant that offers products of their own production and of the territory for both dinner and breakfast. Competent and very helpful staff. There is also a spa which unfortunately we did not have time to try. Favorable value for money for both the hotel and restaurant. The only aspect that could be improved was the bathrooms. I would have liked to find consumable items such as bars of soap, shower gel and caps. Finally, for the dogs, given the small supplement, it would have been nice to include a bowl and a mat in the room.

Abbiamo assaporato pietanze che ci hanno fatto apprezzare il valore della tradizione e delle materie prime. Domenica tra amici e buon vino. Personale accogliente
