A nice hotel very well located in the center of Cortina. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend. The location was superb, the staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast had everything you need. Highly recommended.

We arrived in a snowstorm, with construction for the Olympics making the town a wreck. The staff at the front desk was fantastic and found us one of the last parking spaces underground. Parking fees are steep, at 40 euros a night, but this is a problem at some properties in the US as well. I originally reserved a double room on booking.com but later called the hotel directly to see about adding an extra bed for another person. I spoke with Lumina, who generously upgraded us to a family room with extra beds, at no additional cost. Unfortunately when we arrived, that information wasn’t in the computer, only the original online reservation. At first we were offered a combination of bed and sofa beds and there were limited options with the sold out hotel. However the hotel manager Guiseppe, worked on some different room options before finally finding a last minute cancellation for a larger room with three real beds. He also made sure we were well taken care of for the time it took to resolve everything. I thought this hotel was great! The beds were comfortable, nice lobby to relax in, a heated ski locker room, and the location was central to everything. We had dinner in the restaurant which had a fantastic menu selection and attentive staff. The [included] hot breakfast each morning offered a nice variety and was fully staffed. Again, hats off to Guiseppe for taking care of his customers and to the super friendly crew at Alaska Cortina (Riccardo, Paulo, Lumina, wait staff). It was a really great stay and I’d book here again. -James

The hotel is very well located, and the staff are very professional and friendly. The rooms are a good size, quiet, and functional.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a truly wonderful time. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the breakfast was varied, the dinner excellent, and the location was very central. Overall, everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

A truly positive experience, a stunning location in the heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo, excellent and professional staff, Lumina at reception is top-notch, beautiful room with a living room, two balconies overlooking the bell tower on the main street, two bathrooms, TV, minibar, hairdryer, safe, telephone, Wi-Fi, everything is there, even slippers are provided as a courtesy. Highly recommended, 10 out of 10! ☆☆☆☆☆
