Salty reviews of Carbonara are precise. Order at your own risk. Server managed a busy lunch opening himself for about 15 minutes gracefully. Service after that was lacking but I can forgive it. At the end he told me I have to leave a separate tip. I didn’t and I’m only not deducting a star for it because my girlfriend really enjoyed her food here. I tried her pesto pasta and it was very good. I will take this as a win for a super touristy zone. Super helpful to walk up 10-15 min before opening since we had a Fork reservation but they evidently aren’t checking that site prior to opening and sit a full table by 10-15 minutes into lunch service. Wine was delish.

Have visited and eaten there for lunch and dinner many times over the years. One memorable many-hours long lunch with some artists and local friends was followed by the delightful staff providing us with complementary limoncello and grappa…. It’s a little gem of a restaurant Always worth revisiting.

Amazing food. Our 10th restaurant meal in Rome and it's farrr above 2nd place. Recommended to us by a local and it lived up to the hype.
Try the beef cheek. Its incredible.

Great restaurant. Managed to squeeze us in on a very busy evening.
The food was absolutely amazing. Simple but so flavoursome. Highly recommend. The Carbonara was a standout.

We were recommended this place by our Airbnb host. It turned out to be the best restaurant we have dined in since arriving in Italy two weeks ago. The food was great but so was the service. The owner engaged with all his customers and made everyone feel welcome. He also gave us a free starter and then brought out lemoncellos and biscuits with the bill. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great too!! Excellent experience and fully recommend.

Pleasant atmosphere, attentive but not pushy staff. Nice wine list. Good appetizers, especially the cod with zucchini.
The first courses are also good, especially those with homemade pasta.
The desserts are a letdown: a millefeuille with seasonal fruit, presented without fruit, and a practically runny pistachio crème brûlée. Needs improvement.
Adequate price.

Bel posto molto carino, pulito proprietario presumo e cameriera gentili, mangiato benissimo due cacio e pepe ed una carbonara prezzo corretto e brillanti nell offrire l amaro, per una gentilezza non scontata. L unica cosa un po' le porzioni un po' più ristrette rispetto alle tradizionali trattorie ma quello un mio parere personale
