We went for lunch today, my husband and I took a meat menu of the day and a vegetarian one. Both very good with fresh pasta and well-assorted products. Nice owners, you could feel the family atmosphere Highly recommended!

Very kind chef, he advised us what to eat. The house specialty, the octopus and seafood appetizer, was very good and the dish a work of art. Also available to cook me a vegan dish upon request. The environment, above all the interior of the restaurant, is very particular and refined. I recommend it, also because Populonia is worth the visit.

I happened upon it by chance with my family during the weekend of May 1st and it was a wonderful discovery. Nice atmosphere, friendly and pleasant staff and delicious food. I recommend everyone who stops in Populonia to have lunch or dinner in this restaurant. Compliments!

I was here for dinner with my family two nights in a row, the first evening we had pappardelle with Cinta Senese and Maremmana ragù and tortelli with ricotta and spinach always with the same ragù and finally the tender pistachio one. The second evening pizza with wild boar salami, burrata and pine nuts and the other with grilled ham, tiramisu for dessert. Really excellent cuisine and pizzeria, I really appreciate the limited and refined menu, not everyone loves it but in this case it's really worth it! A special compliment to the two young girls who whiz around the room at a thousand miles per hour! Congratulations also to the family that runs the place. I don't vote for 5 stars only for two simple reasons. The first is that, in my humble opinion, even if the dessert is made with top quality ingredients, 9 euros is a little exaggerated... especially for the pistachio tenderine, very good but the dose is really minimal. The second reason is an advice that I would like to give to the owners: it is not easy to find such willing and educated young people who want to work as waiters nowadays, provide them with 360º training and one day they will be the backbone of the place. Having said that, I recommend it to everyone who is in the area or passing through the fantastic Populonia!

Excellent food. Excellent value for money. Excellent service. The hostess and cook personally apologized for the delay in delivering a dish. An unnecessary gesture but certainly appreciated. The friendliness and kindness shown are to be admired.

Moving on to Populonia at lunchtime, we entered, following our instincts, into this delightful vintage place, very welcoming like its managers. We could perceive the experience and passion of this family who shared their story with us with simple genuineness. Highly recommended

We had a tasty dinner in this nice restaurant/pizzeria, kind and friendly staff, had Piombino-style octopus and truly delicious pizzas (long leavening with high quality ingredients), very nice place, what can I say, we will definitely be back! Advised!
